Puls-Rate Systems showcased at the 2010 London Golf and Tennis Show

The Puls-Rate Sports and Performance video analysis system was showcased at the 2010 London Golf Show at the Excel Centre.

Our prominent stand between the two main entrances to the hall featured the Puls-Rate Stadium system, equipped with several cameras, set up specifically for golf and tennis activities.

The cameras offered several views from the north, east and west sides of the exercise zone, together with views from directly above.

Golf swing and tennis serve activities could be analysed in fine detail from any or all camera angles simultaneously, at a choice of speeds or frame by frame in forward or reverse directions.

There is no restriction to the number of cameras that can be attached to the system, or in the way in which they are arranged on the Puls-Rate Stadium system, which offers maximum flexibility, with multiple repeatable configurations.

The Puls-Rate Stadium system also supports all of the necessary lighting, to ensure the best possible operating conditions for the cameras both day or night, inside or out.

Also on our stand, we will be showing the brand new Sports Balance Analyser, which is equipped with 4,756 individual sensing elements to capture high resolution data on vertical forces, pressures, and centre of force locations under the athlete's feet.

The Sports Balance Analyser is ideal for many sports and training academies and institutions.

The data from the Sports and Balance Analyser will be simultaneously captured by the Puls-Rate video analysis system for synchronised playback together with any or all of the recorded video streams.

We will also feature the Golf Launchpad Tour golf simulator on our stand, and will be offering one of these as a prize to the visitor that achieves the longest drive over the three day event.

The Golf Launchpad Tour is a USB powered launch monitor with a precision bearing mounted tethered ball, which can be struck using your own golf clubs. You advise the Golf Launchpad which club you are using by pressing a button on the convenient remote control caddie, that is also supplied within the package.

When the ball is struck, the head of the golf club is measured at a rate of 2000 times per second by each of the seven infra red sensors built into the base of the unit.

Once processed, this data can establish the club head speed, and angle, which can be used to determine the ball speed, angle, spin, flight, bounce and roll.

This information can be displayed graphically on the included Virtual Driving Range software (LPDR), and stored for later analysis.

This data will also be simultaneously captured by the Puls-Rate video analysis system for synchronised playback with any or all of the captured video streams.

The Golf Launchpad Tour works with the PC, MAC and Playstation 3 and is compatible with many golf simulation programs including EA Sports Tiger Woods PGA Tour 08, which is also included in the package.

The Golf Launchpad Tour can analyse all shots from driving to putting, so you can play a full round of golf in the comfort of your own home (or office), using your own set of golf clubs.

You can even play online.

The Golf Launchpad Tour can also be used with a free ball, so you can take the unit along to your local driving range, or use the system in conjunction with a practice net.
